Virginia Sue (Sipe) Stoker

Virginia Sue (Sipe) Stoker, age 78, went to be with her Heavenly Father on March 24, 2022, surrounded by loved ones. She was born on January 3, 1944 in Noodle, TX to Fay Emmitt “Sandy” Sipe and Sarah Elizabeth Lawlis. 

Virginia was a woman of great faith and loved her Lord and Savior. She enjoyed Gospel music, sitting at home relaxing and above all, spending time with her grandchildren. She will be missed dearly by many. 

Those left to cherish her memory are her two sons: Lowell “Wayne” Butler and wife Liza Mae of Merkel and Kevin Stoker and wife Shannon of Sweetwater; one sister: Bonnie Stevens of Garland, TX; three grandchildren: Colton Stoker, Grace Stoker and Savannah Ritchie; one great-grandchild: Tyson Ritchie and another precious one of the way; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Those there to meet her at the Pearly Gates are her parents: Fay and Sarah; one grandson: Lane Andrew Butler; two brothers: Lowell Frank Sipe and Lawlis Yates Sipe; one sister: Oretha Faye Caffey and two nephews: Dylan Joy and Jackie Grayson. 

Graveside services to celebrate Virginia’s life will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at Trent Cemetery in Trent, TX. Arrangements are entrusted to Starbuck Funeral Home of Merkel.
