Tobias James Gonzales

Tobias “Toby” Gonzales, 3, of Merkel, Texas, leaves behind his mother Joanna, dad Andrew, brothers; Noah and Nathaniel.

Toby enjoyed all the wonderful things that kids like such as going swimming, watching cartoons, watching videos, playing with his toys, running outside and laughing (his smile will forever be missed).  His heart was filled love and it shined through. He was getting ready for Halloween.

 He will be missed by his grandparents, great grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and many more whose hearts he has touched. Toby left gentle footprints that will forever live in our hearts.  His smile will shine through!

 As long as we can, we will look at this world for of all of us, as long as we can, we will laugh and cherish all the memories of you.  We will always pray to the stars, for all of us! Love mom, dad and brothers.

 The LORD is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed.

Visitation will be in Starbucks Funeral Home at 201 Edwards St., Merkel, Texas on, Sunday, October 23, 2022 from 5 – 7pm. Funeral services will be at held at Merkel Church of Christ, 700 Ash St., Monday, October 24, 2022 at 10:00am. Services are under the direction of Starbuck Funeral Home.
