Teresa Lee Barker

Teresa Lee Riddle-Barker, 71, of Hawley, passed away on January 2, 2026 in Hawley Texas.

Teresa was born in Midland, Texas to Edna and Irlie Bardwell. she Graduated high school from midland high school. She worked as a cosmetologist (NOT a hairdresser) at Abilene hairlines for many years. 

Teresa was preceded in death by her parents, Edna and Irlie Bardwell, her son Tony Riddle, daughter in law Amanda Riddle, brother Jr Bardwell, sister Sharon Moses, and nephew Dannye Martin.

Teresa is survived by stepsons Josh and Chancey Barker; sister Franny Read and husband John Read; Grandchildren Kalyssta Riddle and husband McCord Whitaker, Wyatt, Gracie, and Maverick Barker, Daniel Barker; Great Grandson Tyson Whitaker; many nieces and nephews; Cousin Calvin Brown; and her life partner William (Bill) Barker 

Pallbearers will be Ryan Bardwell, Wyatt Barker, Kalyssta Riddle, Brandy Daniels, McCord Whitaker, Michael (smiley) Cloud 

Visitation will be January 8 from 6-8 pm at Starbuck Funeral home in Merkel, Texas. 

Funeral services will be held January 9, 2025 at 2pm at Starbuck Funeral Home in Merkel, Texas. Burial will follow at Rose hill cemetery in Merkel, Texas.
