Sabrina Lee Gilbreath, 52, of Merkel, passed away on July 3, 2024, in Merkel, Texas.
Sabrina was born in Corpus Christi to Bill and Delories Boswell on October 15, 1971. She attended school in Merkel, Texas, until she was a junior, at which time she moved to Brownwood, Texas. She graduated from Brownwood High School. She married Andrew Gilbreath on September 3, 1998, in Abilene, Texas. She worked as a secretary for Merkel Independent School District. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She was involved in school and community activities in Merkel. Sabrina loved being surrounded by her friends and family.
Sabrina is survived by husband Andrew Gilbreath, son Drew Gilbreath, daughter Sydnee Perry and husband Logan Perry, daughter Shelby Gilbreath, son Hunter Roberts and wife Emily Roberts, grandson Grayson Votaw, a grandson on the way, parents Bill and Delories Boswell, sister Kelly Gilbreath and husband Shawn Gilbreath, brother John Boswell and wife Amber Boswell, and brother Matt Boswell and wife Vivian Boswell.
Pallbearers will be David Dotson, Andrew Todd, Kyle Doan, Chris Reatherford, Craig Smith, and Chad Smith.
Visitation will be from 5:00–7:00 P.M. on Sunday, July 7, 2024, at First Baptist Church in Merkel.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, July 8, 2024, at First Baptist Church in Merkel with pastor Brian Simon of First Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Starbuck Family Funeral Home.
Memorials may be given to First Baptist Church in Merkel. The family of Sabrina wishes to extend our sincere thanks to friends, family, and the community of Merkel for their kindness and generosity through this time.
