Rosalinda “Rosie” Guzman, age 63, went to spend Christmas with her Lord and Savior on December 25, 2021 in Abilene, TX. She was born in Rotan, TX to Bill Reyna Luna and Pauline (Trejo) Luna.
Rosie was a loving and generous woman, who would give the shirt off her back to help someone in need. She was an amazing cook and enjoyed the holidays and cooking for family and friends. Her passion was music and Rosie loved to dance. She loved her family before all and cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. When Rosie left us on Christmas Day, there was a huge void in our hearts. She will be missed dearly and her memory will live on in her family and those who loved her dearly.
She is survived by her daughters: Cristy Ruiz (Jeff Marentes) and Sandra Guzman, both of Abilene; son: Christopher Luna of Abilene; sisters: Toni Howell of Abilene, Patsy Olivo (Raymond Guajardo) of Abilene, and B.J. Callaway (Stanley) of Copperas Cove, TX; brother: Domingo Luna (Jolynn) of Merkel; grandchildren: Destini and Damian DeLaCruz, Dezirae Guzman, Joe Anthony and Mariah Marentes, Zach Luna and Matthew Rubio; great-grandchildren: Michael Zain DeLaCruz, Gracelynn Rose Griffith, Josyah DeLaCruz and Janessa DeLaCruz, also numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Rosie was reunited in Heaven with her mom: Pauline and her brother: Bill Luna, Jr.
Public viewing will be held from 8am till 4pm, Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Starbuck Funeral Home.
