Ronald Crowson

Ronald “Ronnie” Lee Crowson 81, of Merkel, passed away on Monday, January 13, 2025.

Ronnie was born February 5, 1943 in Coleman, Texas to Jack Lee Crowson and Evelyn Ruth Patterson.  Ronnie joined the Army April 20, 1961 – May 6, 1964.  After the Army he worked as a diesel mechanic until he retired.

Ronnie is survived by his wife Diane Crowson of Merkel, Texas; son Steven Crowson (Liz) of China Spring, Texas; Step daughter Marsha Tucker of Merkel, Texas; Step son Cody Pack of Merkel, Texas; Step son Michael Wade of Minnesota; Step daughter Evelyn Wade of Oklahoma; Sister Debbie Garrett (Gary) of Abilene, Texas. 14 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents Jack Lee Crowson and Evelyn Ruth Patterson.
