Roland Huff ,53, of Abilene, passed away on October 18, 2024 in Abilene, Texas.
Roland was born in Abilene, Texas to Dennis and Leora Huff on July 9, 1971. Roland went to school in Abilene and graduated from Abilene High School. He married Heather Tijerina on July 1, 2019 in Abilene, Texas. He worked as a diesel mechanic for Epic Construction for 3 years.
Roland enjoyed fishing, hunting, horseback riding and playing pool with family and friends on weekends. Roland was a huge Dallas Cowboy fan, he enjoyed calling Dad every Sunday to talk about the game and get Dad's input. In Roland eyes everybody's name was Foo-Foo. Growing up with Roland was always a challenge, never knew what we was going to get into. Roland would always take the blame for whatever trouble we got into with our parents but, then we never heard the end of it. One thing we will say about Roland was family was everything to him.
Roland was preceded in death by his father Dennis Huff, sister-in-law Erica Lindsey, brother-in-law Michael Lindsey, and many grandparents and great grandparents.
Roland is survived by his wife Heather Tijerina, mother Leora Huff, father and mother in law Frank and Penny Lindsey, brother in law Calvin and wife Hilary Pippin, son Dakotah Huff , Trey and Tristen Lindsey, brother Dennis Huff and wife Lynette Huff, sisters Shelly Peables and husband Marvin Peables, Lisa Williams and husband Ryan Curtis, , grandson James Huff, nephews Macey Fuqua, Jazun Rodriguez, Daniel Johnson and Justin Williams , nieces Brittany Rodriguez and Courtney Austin, with numerous great nieces and nephews.
