Roger Todd Moore

Roger Todd Moore, 80, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 11, 2026.

Roger was a Blair kid, a Merkel High School graduate, a McMurry 1966 graduate, a cartoonist, a Texas History buff and a sports enthusiast. He lettered all 4 years in track and was the 1966 long jump conference champion at McMurry. He created the Bona Fide Original Real Texas History Calendar, cofounded Celebrate Texas, and founded Roger Moore and More Advertising in 1975. His quick wit and humor will be missed by all.

He is survived by his wife, Martha, his sons and their spouses and grandchildren: Todd and wife Shauna, Lindsey, and Bennett Moore; Josh and wife Meredith Moore; Jack and wife Delani Moore; as well as numerous other family members.

He is predeceased by his parents: Bessilue and Aurthur Moore.

The family wishes to acknowledge with gratitude the many acts of kindness of friends and caregivers, especially the family at Chisholm Court.

A private burial service will be followed by a Memorial Service, 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at First Baptist Church of Merkel.

In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations or gifts be made to Chisholm Court, 1450 E.N. 10th St. in Abilene, Texas.
