Obituary
Rodney Everett Isom, 70, of Sweetwater, Texas passed away on July 10, 2023. Rodney was born July 10, 1953 in Livingston, Montana to Aubrey and Alberta (Billman) Isom.
Rodney worked at several different companies as an auto parts salesman. He married Gloria Moore on August 17, 1974 in Merkel, Texas. The other love of his life was his dog Gracie Sunshine. He enjoyed traveling with Gloria, listening to classic rock, or watching his favorite show NCIS.
He was preceded by his parents, two younger brothers: Gordon Isom and Terry Isom.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Gloria of Sweetwater, TX; one son: Scott and wife Brittany Isom of Merkel, TX; sister: Verdis and husband Ronnie Knight of Yorktown, Virginia; four grandchildren: Jonathan Mlenak, Teeghan, Rylie, and Allee Meyer of Merkel, TX.
The family will be doing a private memorial service at a later date.
