Robert “Bob” Eugene Wyman, 83, passed away on July 17th after a brief stay in Hendrick Hospital.
Born in Michigan, Bob was a hardworking man who was self-motivated from a young age. After a move to Wisconsin, Bob began working for Colonial Bakery before opening his own gyms and earning an invite to compete in the Mr. Wisconsin in the ‘60’s. Having a passion and love for animals, he turned to Dog Training. He started his teaching in Florida, before moving to the Abilene/Hawley area where he settled and established “Complete Dog Training”. Bob’s training extended from potty training to training Drug Dogs for Law Enforcement in the Texas and New Mexico regions. He will be remembered as a well respected and trusted dog adviser.
Bob was a proud member of the U.S. Navy.
Preceded in death by both parents and his sister, Bob is survived by his daughter Stormy Garber and family (Indiana) and his foster daughter Leticia Browning and family (Hawley), as well as his mutually adopted family Fred and Dawn Valfre, Marcus, Rachael, and Tomas (Abilene).
Bob asked that his ashes be spread at his favorite fishing spot at Kirby Park Lake. We are asking friends to join us on Saturday July 27th, 11 am. Please follow the signs and park so as to allow the elders to pass. (Truck parking on the dirt paths)
