Rellnaldo Rodriguez Delacruz

Rellnaldo Rodriguez, DeLaCruz, 77, of Merkel passed away in the early morning hours of December 5, 2020 at Hendrick Hospice. He was born in Plainview, Texas on December 16, 2020 to Esequiel and Isabel DeLaCruz. He enjoyed music and played the accordion. He also enjoyed fishing, football and animals especially dogs and goats. Survivors include his; daughters Ana Vargas-Wallace(Jason) of Merkel, Melissa Bermea(Hector) of Abilene, and Ema-Lee DeLaCruz(Denny) of Merkel; son Raynaldo DeLaCruz(Heather) of Wink; stepson Scooter Carmack(Trinity); 17 grandchildren and 16 Great-grandchildren; and siblings Paula Larkin of Merkel, Joe DeLaCruz of San Antonio, Ruben DeLaCruz, and David DeLaCruz of New Braunfels. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Jackie; his daughter Sandra Martinez; and siblings Olivia Borrego and Ubense DeLaCruz Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00PM Monday, December 7, 2020 at Starbuck Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 2:00PM Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at Rose Hill Cemetery in Merkel under the direction of Starbuck Funeral Home.
