Ransom Willie Price, Jr

Ransom Willie Price Jr., age 86, of Lapeer formerly Abilene, Texas went to be with his Lord and Savior on September 10, 2020. Ransom was born August 8, 1934 in Merkel, Texas to the late Ransom Sr. and Dottie [Rister] Price. He served his country honorably in the U.S. Army, and was a member of the North Park Assembly of God Church in Abilene, NRA, and Republican Committee. Ransom was an avid outdoorsman that enjoyed hunting and fishing, but most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends. Ransom is survived by his wife Betty, children: Rachel (Mark) Fallet, Shawn Price, Janice (Vincent) Sawyer, Larry Wright, 8 grandchildren: Wyatt, Marshall, Amber, Cody, Steven, Kenneth, Bobby, Earl, and 1 great-grandchild Wayland. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Ransom’s Life will be held 10:00 AM on Saturday, September 19, 2020 at North Park Assembly of God in Abilene, where friends may visit 9:30 AM till the time of service. Ransom’s cremains will be buried at Stith Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Starbucks Funeral Home. Memorial contributions in memory of Ransom may be made to the NRA.
