Patsy Ann Williams, 87, passed away peacefully on August 2, 2024 in Lubbock Texas, after a brief stay, living at Carillon.
Pat was born in Merkel, Texas to Price and Docia Melton on February 11, 1937. She was one of seven children and grew up working on the farm. She graduated from Merkel High School in 1955 where she enjoyed cheering on the Badgers. She met the love of her life while working at Southwestern Bell Telephone Company and eventually married Bobby D. Williams on September 14, 1957. Bob and Pat resided in many areas across Texas, including Abilene, Odessa, Houston, Marble Falls, and finally landing in Cedar Park to be close to her family. Pat worked for the telephone company, in the Abilene State Hospital, as a secretary at Spring Church of Christ, and as an administrator in a hospital in Houston where she retired. She had many hobbies such as baking her famous chocolate cake, fishing out at The Resort Ranch, and volunteering with her local Church of Christ. She was a proud cancer survivor and lived every day to the fullest. Pat found joy in many things - traveling across the country and collecting souvenir spoons, talking on the phone for hours a day with friends and family, and rooting on all of her favorite sports teams. Her greatest joy was her family and spending time with her grandkids and great-grandkids, wearing the title “Mema Pat” proudly.
Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Williams, her parents, Price and Docia Melton, her sister, Billie McElmurray, and her brother Denzel Melton.
Pat is survived by her children, Mark (Traci) Williams and Deanne (John) Kramr, grandchildren, Jessica Williams, Jed Williams, Austin (Lisa) Kramr, Julie (Adam) Setliff, Madison (Brent) Schaekel, Cameron (Bailey) Kramr, and Colin (Vanessa) Kramr. Sister, Del Nall, brothers, T.C. Melton, Doyle Melton, and Benny Melton. Mema Pat also had 9 great-grandchildren, Mason, Morgan, and Elliot Setliff, Ollie, Owen, and Olsen Kramr, Kinsey Kramr, Halle Schaekel and Hayden Kramr.
Pallbearers will be Austin, Cameron, and Colin Kramr, Jed Williams, Brent Schaekel, and Matthew Bryan.
