Pamela Jo Horton

Pamela Jo Horton, 60, of Phoenix passed away Sunday, May 31, 2020 at her home.  She was born December 6, 1959 to Virgil Dave Horton and Geneva Welch Bell in Abilene.  She worked for Hertz Rent A Car in Dallas and at Phoenix Generator in Phoenix for her father for more than 40 years.  She was a member of Church of Christ in Phoenix and loved Western Music.

Survivors include her father Virgil (Dave) Horton of Merkel; mother Geneva Bell of Phoenix; Nephew Andy Coleman of New Mexico; Brother-In-Law Rex Coleman of Bangs, TX;  aunts Lorene Wills of Merkel, TX Melba Glasscock of Petrolia, TX and JoAnn West of Guthrie, OK; and numerous cousins.

Pamela was preceded in death by her sister Cathy Coleman; grandparents Orin and Ruby Welch, and Letha and Hollis Horton; and her aunt Ruby Boone.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00PM Thursday, June 11, 2020 at Rose Hill Cemetery in Merkel under the direction of Starbuck Funeral Home.
