Mark Daniel Sears

Mark Daniel Sears, AKA California kid, was born December 29, 1963 in San Jose, California and passed away a free man from an emotional heart attack at his home in Merkel, Texas on January 11, 2020. Mark was 56. He is greeted by his family and friends with open arms and hearts. Mark is survived by his sons Damian and Aden Sears, daughters Jamie Lopez, Brittany Sears, Autum Sears, wife Jaimi Sears, mother Marylou James, ten grandchildren, 5 sisters, 1 brother, thousands of friends and coworkers. The way he passed is just like he lived, he made his own rules, he fought the law and made his own way if you told him he couldn't do it. He made sure he did and laughed while doing it and told you so. He lived 10,000 years in his 56 years of life, he wanted and did everything and anything he could. He loved to live and enjoy life. Mark was a fun outgoing kid. He started working at age 13 in drywall AKA mudwork with his father George Sears and brothers Bruce and Chuck. He was a wild teen with a job, had his runins with the law in his 20's. After that he started his first family raised his kids well and became a grandpa. Then he hit his second wind started his current family, spoiled them, protected them, loved them. Mark always said "Might's well enjoy it while you got it, cause you can't take it with you when you go" and then laughed. Marks best accomplishment was being a father. He was a proud one. He was the best mudman when he was on the job loved competition and winning he had 43 years experience. He was a rock solid friend, everyone was his bro he was the leader of his pack tough as nails if Rambo and Martin Riggs had a baby. It would have been Mark to the T.  Mark Daniel Sears will live on in all his children and grandchildren. It is with heavy hearts we say rest easy Pops.
