Mark “Ian” Sanchez, age 7, passed from his parents arms in to the arms of his Heavenly Savior on May 7, 2022. His parents were blessed when Ian was born on May 20, 2014 in Jackson, TN. He was born to Homero Sanchez and Vidalia Flores. Ian was an amazing young boy who loved life. He had a love for swimming, playing video games, as long as he was winning, and enjoyed wrestling and fighting with his teddies. He was the happiest with his friends, loved jumping and cuddles, and staying up late playing games with his daddy. Ian most of all loved his family, his mommy, his daddy, his nana, his papa, his bubba, Tia Teresa and Pixie Lixi. He was such a sweet and silly boy and was the best big brother any one could ask for. He enjoyed his cuddles with his mommy and watching his favorite shows and movies. Ian impacted the faith of many and we rejoice in knowing he accomplished his mission here on earth. Many could have learned from Ian’s philosophy which was “Drink more water, exercise and don’t be on your phone so much”. His favorite moto was “Got It” or “Do as I say”. What a brave and strong boy he was, natural born leader and negotiator at heart. We celebrate his almost 8 years of sass. We will always miss you Ian, we will always love you and forever be proud of you. Our father holds you in his arms, but we forever hold you in our hearts. Those left to cherish his love and memory are his mommy: Vidalia Flores; daddy: Homero Sanchez; grandpa: Jose Flores; grandma: Rosario Flores; uncle: David Flores; aunt: Teresa Flores and his baby sister: Gracie Sanchez. Visitation will be held from 5pm-7pm, Friday, May 13, 2022 at the Merkel Church of Christ. Funeral services will be held at 10am, Saturday, May 14, 2022 at Merkel Church of Christ with his grandpa Jose Flores officiating. Interment will be held at Rose Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Starbuck Funeral Home of Merkel.
