Mackenzie Utley

Mackenzie Lian Utley, 38, of Merkel, passed away on February 8, 2024, in Merkel, Texas. 

Mackenzie was born in Abilene, Texas, to Ronnie and Pamela Bates on November 23, 1985. She went to school at Merkel. 

Mackenzie was preceded in death by Pat Smith and Alton Bates. 

Mackenzie is survived by her children: Mackenna Bates, Braston Utley, and Maddox Utley, Parents: Ronnie and Pam Bates,  Sister Karen and spouse Jonathan Lee, Grandparents Rosalou Bates and Bill Smith, and neice Bailey Lee.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, from 5pm to 7pm at Starbuck Funeral Home.
