Macario Hernandez, 59, passed away August 19, 2023 in Ft. Worth, Texas. Macario was born to Cecilio L. Hernandez and Leonarda C. Biera on October 24, 1963.
He went to Merkel schools and was a hard worker. He was a roofer and a machinist for Martin Sprocket.
Macario was preceded in death by his father Cecilio L. Hernandez, his mother Leonarda C. Biera, brothers: Cecil L. Hernandez, Jimmy Hernandez, and Mauricio Hernandez, and one sister: Ernestina Hernandez.
Macario is survived by his sisters: Geneva Pena, Mary DeLaGarza, Elizabeth Sanchez, all from Abilene, TX, Conzuelo Rubio of Arlington, TX, and Silvia Narvaez of Dallas, TX; brothers: Xavier Hernandez of Ft. Worth, Tx and George Hernandez of East, TX. Macario also leaves behind his legacy of loving his family so much, especially his nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 9, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Starbuck Funeral Home Chapel in Merkel, TX followed by burial at Rose Hill Cemetery. Officiating the service will be Marcelino Peña.
