Larry Dean Morris

Larry Morris, 76, of Trent, TX passed away on November 4, 2024.

Larry Morris was born in Merkel, TX to Amos and Ella Morris on September 23, 1948.  He went to school in Trent and graduated from Trent High School.  He married Debra Morris on June 8, 1974 in Abilene, Texas.  He worked as a TxDot Maintenance Crewman for 32 years.  He was a veteran of the US Navy.  

Larry was preceded in death by his mom and dad, brothers and sisters: Lena, Doris Jean, Joyce, Rosenell, Bugsy, David, Brenda, and Stanley.

Larry is survived by his wife Debra, brothers: Clifton and Lynn, several nieces and nephews and his fur babies Bella and Cana.

Pallbearers will be Dale Whitaker, Kyle Hollingsworth, Donald Whitaker, Wyatt Whitaker, Michael Armstrong, Randy Godsey and Erik Hargett.

Visitation will be Sunday, November 10, 2024 at Starbuck Family Funeral Home in Merkel, Texas.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00pm Monday, November 11, 2024 with the Tommy Locke, officiating.  Burial will follow at Trent Cemetery.  Services are under the direction of Starbuck Family Funeral Home.

Memorials may be given to Starbuck Family Funeral Home.
