Larry Wayne Jones, 59, of Merkel passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at his home. He was born to Thomas and Norma Jones August 14, 1959 in Dallas, Texas.
Larry worked in construction for over 30 years. He enjoyed fishing at Lake Fort Phantom, hunting, camping and woodworking.
He is survived by his wife Margaret (Maggie) Jones of Merkel; sons Timothy and Joshua Deaver of Merkel and Little Rock, Arkansas; daughter Christina Buckley and her husband Andy or Merkel; and grandsons Matthew and Logan Buckley of Merkel.
He was preceded in death by his father Thomas Larry Jones and Brother Sammy Jones.
