Kay Beth Gibson O'Kelly was born on December 10 1953, to ET "Buddy" Gibson and Mary Frances Gibson in Abilene, TX.
Kay married Owen "Bubba" O'Kelly on May 27, 1978. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister Cynthia Diane. She is survived by her husband, Bubba O'Kelly; son Scott(wife Jana) and their children Jake, Thomas, Jaxon and Raylee; daughter Kelley O'Kelly and children Tessa, Aceyn, Kaylee and Kash; daughter Heather O'Kelly (partner Daniel), and their son Jamison; brother Eddie Gibson(wife Kim) and their children Leann, Colby and Courtney, dear family friend Matthew Moody, special cousin Trish Rains, and a host of other dear friends, cousins, and great nephews, and nieces.
Kay was a hard worker and a loving mother with a sneaky sense of humor. She worked at Walls as a seamstress for many years. Kay also served as a US Postmaster relief worker for over 10 years. Kay loved everyone she ever met, and most especially children. Kay also worked in daycare and held a special place in her heart for all of her day care kids. Kay was known for her cooking and cooked many meals and dishes for O'Kelly and Gibson family events, which she thoroughly enjoyed. She was also notorious for her love of bingo and making a trip to the casino whenever she could, where she had more than her fair share of luck! Kay was a quiet and witty woman whose presence will be missed by her friends and family.
