John "J.T." Thomas Husband

John Thomas “J.T.” Husband, 88, of Merkel passed away in the evening hours of Monday, December 21, 2020 in Abilene. He was born to George and Hettie (Davis) Husband in Smith County, Mississippi on October 18, 1932. J.T. was a truck driver. J.T. is survived by his daughter Michelle Bridges and her Husband Kelly of Coleman; his grandson Brett Gerson and wife Sarah Lynne; and two great grandsons Alasdair and Iver. He was preceded in death by his wife Doris Husband; son J.T. “Johnny” Husband, Jr.; and sisters Marlene Bryant, Barbara Rouse, Delma Husband, Mary Welch, Louise Kirk, and Lorene Willis. Graveside services will be held at 1:00PM Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Evergreen Cemetery in Rowena with Seth Moore officiating.
