Ginger Meyer, Sixty-five, of Tye, Texas, passed away on July 26, 2024 in Tye, Texas
Ginger was born in Abilene, Texas to Doris Johnson and Jerry La Verne Johnson on March 31, 1959. She went to school at Tye, Farmers Branch, Longview, Plano and Denton, Texas and attended college at Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, Texas. She worked at several vocations including beautician and take-out café owner operator.
Ginger was proceeded in death by her husband of forty years, Mendel Guy Meyer.
Ginger is survived by her brother Billy Farris Johnson and her mother Doris Beddingfield as well as numerous other kin and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 2 PM August 8, 2024 at the Tye community center at 103 Scott St. (on 707 south of railroad tracks). A private burial will take place after that. Services are under the direction of Starbuck Family Funeral Home.
