Gary Wayne Bien, 58, from Abilene passed away on December 10, 2023, in Abilene.
Gary was born to Joe and Mary Bien on July 17, 1965 in Brownwood, Tx. He attended Wylie High School where he enjoyed the rodeo. After that he started working in the oilfield and met Chareila Milner at the age of 18 & 22. They had the joy of raising two sons, Jeremy Jay Bien, and Weston Joseph Bien.
Gary devoted the past years of his life to working as a truck driver at Blackburns Trucking. In his free time, he loved spending time riding his Harley, spending time with his wife, his sons, and his new grandbaby Sonora.
Gary is survived by his wife Chareila Bien, his sons Jeremy Bien and his wife Stephany, Weston Bien, Shane Bien, daughter Brittney Griffin and husband Billy, sister Diana Bien, brother-in-law- Greg Marsh, brother Steven Bien and wife Jennifer, stepfather Jack Huckelbridge, and Gary’s grandchildren: Sonora, Nathan J, Hennesey, Lexi, Brilynn, Isabella, Isaiah, numerous nieces and nephews and one great niece. They will all forever hold a special place in their hearts for their beloved grandfather and uncle.
Gary is proceeded in death by his father Joe Bien of Brownwood, his mother Mary Huckelbridge of Merkel, his mother-in-law Billie Milner of Abilene, and his sister Kimberly Bien of Abilene.
Visitation will take place on Friday, December 15, 2023 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the Starbuck Funeral Home Chapel, 201 Edwards St in Merkel, Tx.
Gary’s funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 16, 2023, at the First Baptist Church, 301 Locust, in Merkel, Tx.
