Frances Jean Freeman Bodine, age 83, died Thursday, December 31, 2020, in the Sweetwater Nursing Home. There will be no service due to the Covid virus. Frances was born on April 29, 19377, in Kilgore, TX to the late Lawrence and Mildred Henderson. She worked in retail and owned Bo’s Bait and Grub for years. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law: Harrell Wayne and Gaylon Freeman of Rotan; three daughters: Pat Brown of Snyder, Vivian Williams and husband James and Pam “Shelley” Freeman, all of Sweetwater; step-daughter: DeAnn Bodine Landis of Fort Lauderdale, FL; one sister: Betty Metcalf of Abilene; 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister: Kay Graham; one daughter: Barbara Gray and granddaughter: Vicky Freeman Hernandez. Arrangements are entrusted to Starbuck Funeral Home in Merkel.
