Denise Adams Obituary

With our deepest sadness, we announce the sudden loss of our beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, eldest sister, sister-in-law, aunt and great aunt who went into Gods loving arms on October 14, 2021. She passed away so suddenly in her home in Merkel, Texas.  She was survived by her son, Justin Buck of Texas and 5 granddaughters: Ava, Callie, Tara, Piper and Bella Adams, all girls of Texas; daughter to Beatrice Schiavone of Pennsylvania and her 4 sisters:

Stacey Chiatto of NJ, Kimberly Mathews of PA, Robin Schiavone of NJ and Carrie Canavan of NJ.

She was an aunt to many nieces, nephews, great-nieces & great-nephews. She was also a former spouse to JR Adams of Merkel, Texas for 24 years. She was also a granddaughter to pre-deceased grand-parents, Frederick & Patricia Koch of New York & New Jersey.

She was born in Coney Island, NY and later moved to NJ in her teenage years with her mother & step-dad and sisters and then moved to Austin, Texas where she married and gave birth to her son Justin back in 1985.  She was a High School graduate of Class of 1980 and sang in the High School Choir in her Senior year where she was prepping to be on her way to sing with the New York Harmonic Choir after graduation. She had a voice of an Angel! She reached notes of a high soprano singer that anyone could possibly reach. It was a talent like not many other sopranos singers. The song “Oh Holy Night” was her favorite song to sing and sang it so beautifully just as her heart and soul was beautiful. She was just a remarkably beautiful person and had a genuine great personality that will be truly missed by her family and friends. Her favorite Holiday’s were; Thanksgiving, Christmas, Mother’s Day and Fourth of July.  Although, she was a wonderful homemaker, she was an excellent cook as well. Especially her homemade Texas Style Brisket and baked beans from scratch-so delicious amongst many other favorite dishes she made. She loved to go shopping especially when she visited with her family in NJ & PA. She also enjoyed “Zen” in her spare time. Denise was the type of women that always looked her best at any given time. She always dressed nicely and always did her hair and makeup so professionally done and loved to accessorize. She loved drinking her favorite wine socially & especially having a shot of  "Tequila Rose”.  Her hobbies were collecting many different Tea Pots and loved collecting Christmas Nutcrackers.

Her true happiness came from her son and five granddaughters that she adored dearly. Denise was her son’s biggest supporter in all his accomplishments, especially all the Rodeos he rode in. Her famous words were; “My son Justin can never do no wrong in my eyes”-spoken from a loving hearted mother! Rest In Heaven our beloved Denise Adams……
