Debbie Locke

Debbie Locke, 71, of Abilene, Texas, passed away on January 2, 2025, in Abilene, Texas.

Debbie was born in Abilene, Texas, to Jim and Barbara Pulliam on October 7, 1953. She went to school and graduated from Tahoka High School. She married Tommy Locke on November 7, 1975, in Tahoka, Texas. She worked as a substitute teacher and health care provider for Merkel School District and then Stamford Memorial Home Health. She was involved in ministry at Faith Tabernacle where she played the Piano and sang.

Debbie was preceded in death by both her parents, Jim and Barbara Pulliam.

Debbie is survived by Tommy Locke, husband of forty-nine years: Brad Locke, son: Paula Brown, sister and Mike Pulliam, brother: three nieces, one nephew, five great nieces, six great nephews, and two great-great nephews.

Pallbearers will be Chad Taylor, Elliott Richardson, Jesse Sullivan, Jerry Perkins, Bobby Votaw, and Kenny Dry.

Visitation will be at 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 5, 2025, at Starbucks Funeral Home, 1022 N 2nd St, Merkel, TX 79536.

Funeral services will be held starting at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 6, 2025, at Starbucks Funeral Home, 1022 N 2nd St, Merkel, TX 79536 with Todd Brown of Shield of Faith Church, officiating. Services are under the direction of Starbuck Funeral Home.
