Charlie Mack Cochran, 57, of Abilene passed away in the afternoon hours of June 14, 2021 surrounded by his family. He was born to Ralph and Billie (Goza) Cochran on November 25, 1963 in Abilene, Texas.
When not working as a welder and truck driver; Charlie enjoyed spending time fishing, hunting, watching westerns and spending time with grandkids.
Charlie is survived by his soulmate Tonya Cochran of Tye; children April Thompson and Fiancé Levi Ely of Merkel, Ashlie Cochran of Merkel, Cory Cochran and Wife Michelle of Merkel, and Summer Cochran and Fiancé Jay Ryan of Kansas; grandchildren Maycee Jones, Rowdee Rogers, Tanner Bird, Tarryn Bird, Jordan Cardenas, Jayden Cardenas, Jaxton Cochran, Jansen Cochran, Jentrie Ryan, and twin grandbabies due in January; brothers David Cochran and wife Cindy of Clyde and Billy Cochran of Abilene; sister Kim Roberts and husband Kevin of Abilene; and many other extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters Debbie Cochran and Tammy Fuller; and brother Ralph Lynn Cochran.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Thursday, June 17, 2021 at Starbuck Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, June 18, 2021 at Calvary Baptist Church in Merkel. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.
