Charles Landtroop Obituary

Charles (Chuck) Glen Landtroop, 71, of Merkel, TX, went to be with our Lord and Savior on Tuesday, April 23, 2019, at his residence.

Chuck was born on August 28, 1947, to Wendell Coyt Landtroop, Sr and Imogene McDougle in Post, TX.

Chuck was a loving and supportive husband, father, and granddad. He had a short battle with an aggressive cancer, but it only deepened his relationship with the Lord. He spent his last days surrounded by family. His love for his family is what kept him going.

He is survived by his wife, Sabrina Mary Clairmont, of Merkel; his five children, Michael and Amy (Elkin), of Abilene; Chontae and Mark Feldman, of McKinney; Ashley and Justin Young, of Abilene; Tara Rodriguez, of Bedford; and Kelsey and Bobby Flores, of Clyde; his mother of Merkel; a sister, Jeanne and Weldon Brookshire, of Pecos; and fourteen grandchildren, Abrianna, Julia, Matthew, Cade, Emarie, Carly, Ramey, Presley, Eli, Charleigh, Scarlett, Stella, Brinley, Brogan, and Kambry .

He was preceded in death by his father and by his brother, Wendell (Pete) Coyt Landtroop, Jr.

Per his wishes, a private memorial with his immediate family was held.

Romans 6:23  “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
