Cathy Marie Wiloth

Cathy Marie Wiloth, 71, of Mabank, Tx passed away on Monday May 19, 2025 in Mabank, Texas.

Cathy was born in Elk City, Oklahoma to William A. Taff and Lois Crawford on May 10, 1954. She went to school in Merkel, Texas and graduated from Merkel High School. She married Larry Wiloth on June 20, 1970 at the Assembly of God in Merkel, Texas. She worked for Walls, a teacher in Corsicana, and First Financial Bank before retiring. She was a current member of the Abundant Life Church since 2011. Cathy was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt.

Cathy was preceded in death by her father William A. Taff, her grandfather William D. Taff, and grandmother Orpha Ina Hill.

Cathy is survived by her son William (LeeAnn) Wiloth of Sutherlin, Oregon, daughter Suzanne (David) Smith of Mabank, Texas, son Terry (Brandy) Wiloth, mother Lois Taff, sister Gwen Taff, and brother Gene (Cathy) Taff. Grandchildren: Alexander (Addison) Smith, Savannah Smith (Jamaal) Battles, Lucien Wiloth, Wyatt, Wiloth, Zachary Wiloth, and Kiley Anna-Rose Wiloth. Great Grandchildren: Isaac Battles, Everleigh Battles, Penelope Smith, Emersynn Battles, A’Miyah Battles, and David “D.J.” J. Smith.

Pallbearers will be Alexander Smith, Jamaal Battles, Curtis Harris, Lucien Wiloth, Wyatt Wiloth, Zachary Wiloth, Brian Massey, and Michael Adkins.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. on Friday, May 23, 2025 at Starbuck Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 24, 2025 at Abundant Life Assembly in Merkel with Joe Bushnell officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Merkel, Texas.
