Carolyn Sue Deen McDeall, 78, of Abilene passed away in the evening hours of Monday, March 22, 2021. She was born to Bruce and Wilma (McBride) Deen in Merkel, Texas on October 10, 1942.
Carolyn is survived by her children Debbie Skiles and husband Jackie of Abilene, Toni McDonald of Aspermont, and Bill Roberts and wife Mary Jane of Buffalo Gap; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; as well as numerous other family members.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her husbands Jack McDeall and Loyd Roberts; daughter Wilma Diane Darby; brothers Bruce Ed Deen and Charlie “Bunk” Deen; and by her parents.
Carolyn retired from the Abilene State School in 1996 where she worked in food service.
Carolyn enjoyed to sew, embroidery, play cards, work puzzles, dance, and listen to old country music.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00PM Thursday, March 25, 2021 at Starbuck Funeral Home in Merkel. Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Friday, March, 26, 2021 at Starbuck Funeral Home. Burial will follow ta Rose Hill Cemetery in Merkel.
