Calvin "Wayne" Irvin

Calvin “Wayne” Irvin was born in Merkel, Texas on August 27, 1941 to Calvin George & Melbalea (Watts) Irvin. He passed away on March 20, 2026 in Midland, Texas after a lengthy illness.

Wayne attended Merkel schools. He farmed & ranched with his father, Calvin Irvin, in his early years. He was a resident of Abilene, Texas until moving to Midland, Texas in 2017 to be near his daughters.

Wayne is survived by 2 daughters, Amy (Wes) Overton and Abby (Steve) Rowe; 5 granddaughters: Madison (Garrett) Martin, McKenzi McAdams, Morgan McAdams, Ashton Rowe, Addison Rowe (Branden Luis); 2 great grandchildren: Tommy Martin & Taylor Martin; and brother, Karl (Carol) Irvin.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Calvin & Melbalea Irvin; as well as wife, Ann Irvin.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Rose Hill Cemetery. 

Private family burial will be at a later date.
