Bonnie Florence Bacorn

Bonnie Florence Bacorn, 66, of Abilene passed away Friday, January 15, 2021. She was born July 22, 1954 in Albany, New York to Donald and Florence Sutherland. Bonnie was a devoted wife and mother. She was always supportive of her husband’s military career which allowed her to travel both domestically and internationally during his tours of Greece and the United Kingdom. Upon Frederick’s retirement from the Air Force the couples travels continued as missionaries in Europe, Asia and South America. Bonnie is survived by her two sons Frederick O. Bacorn III (Natalie) of North Pole, Alaska and Nathaniel P. Bacorn (Sarah) of Malmstrom Air Force Base, Great Falls, Montana; five grandchildren: Alyssa, Abigail, Camden, Brighton, and Savannah; and siblings Bob Sutherland(Rose), Scott Sutherland, Danny Sutherland, and Andrea McDonald(Bruce). Bonnie was preceded in death by her loving husband Frederick Bacorn, Jr.; her parents and by her brother Tim Sutherland.. Funeral services will be held privately at the Texas State Veteran’s Cemetery at Abilene where she will be laid to rest with her loving husband. Arrangements are under the direction of Starbuck Funeral Home.
