Bobbye Bean

Bobbye Luan Bean, age 84, of Merkel, Texas, passed away after a short illness on November 23, 2022 at Hendrick Hospice in Abilene, Tx. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held in her honor on Saturday, December 10, 2022, 2:00 PM at the Merkel Methodist Church, of which she was a long-standing member. Bobbye was born Feburary 8, 1938 in Mulberry Canyon. She was a life-long resident of Texas. Bobbye was a Registered Nurse for nearly 50 years. She was a gentle soul who ruled with the iron-fist  if she felt her patients were not being taken care of in a proper manner.

Bobbye s preceded in death by her parents, A.C. (Buddy) and Orene Windham, two sisters Kathy Jean Crocker, Marlene Watts and one son, Bradley Wayne Elliott. 

She is survived by her husband, Juan (Johnny) Aguirre, a daughter Cindy Elliott Adams of San Angelo, three sons; Scott Elliot of Trent, Noah Bean of Merkel, and Joshua Bean of Abilene.
