Obituary
Billie (Townsend) Perry, 94, passed from death to life on Monday, February 06, 2023. She was born July 25, 1928 in Brown County, the only child of Tracy and Maggie Townsend. She grew up and attended school in McCulloch County.
On August 14, 1947 Billie married Troyce Perry in Abilene, Texas. They moved to Houston, TX where on November 11, 1952 their son, Stephen Troyce Perry, was born. They moved to Midland, TX in 1965 and lived there until 1989 when the family moved to Hubbard Creek Lake in Breckenridge, TX. She lived there until her husband passed away in 1998, she then returned to Midland. Billie was a member of First Baptist Church and the Dorcas Sunday school class.
Billie is survived by her son Stephen, several cousins and numerous friends. She will be buried next to her husband at Rose Hill Cemetery in Merkel, TX. No services are scheduled at this time.
