Obituary
Our beloved Mom, Billie Joyce Farmer, 80, of Hawley was called home into the loving arms of her Savior on Tuesday July 11, 2023.
A celebration of her life will be held by her family at a later date.
Our Mom was born on March 3, 1943 in Ohio County, Kentucky to William Logsdon and Clara Payton. After completing her education, she married the love of her life on July 7, 1961. They shared 61 years of wedded bliss when he was called home in January. She was a homemaker and a devoted Mother. She was a member of Caps United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her children, Timothy Farmer and wife Kayren, Vernon Joseph Farmer and Wendy Moreno. She also leaves behind 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Vernon, beloved son Wesley, brother Leonard Logsdon and sister Mary Raymer.
Our Mom loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. When she wasn't spending time with them she loved baking, reading and traveling.
We would like to thank Dr Allen Schultz and his staff as well as Hendrick Hospice for all of the loving care they provided to each of us.
