Barbara Deanda, age 71, peacefully went to be with the Lord on July 30, 2025. Barbara was born in Jacksonville, North Carolina to Phyillis Lanier and Hubert Boling on April 22, 1954.
Barbara was known for creating a happy home for family and friends to visit. She always had bacon on the stove to snack on and a pitcher of her famous sweet tea in the refrigerator. Often you would walk up to the house and Barbara would have the windows open, and cleaning while listing to Elvis Presley or Jackie Wilson. You were greeted with a welcomed smile and her undivided attention while she drank her coffee and enjoyed a cigarette.
She was a beloved mother and grandmother to all. She had family that she gained through marriage and kept after separation. Barbara loved nothing more than to talk about her kids and grandkids. She was so proud of their accomplishments in life and enjoyed celebrating their successes with them.
She is preceded in death by her mother, father, and brother Chad.
Barbara is survived by her daughters Candace Flores (Noe), Christina Deanda, brothers Robert Boling and Greg King, 9 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Barbara will be greatly missed. The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who has reached out and offered prayers during this difficult time.
“Weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning.” Psalm 30:5
