Ava Armatha Williams, 82, of Pecos was born February 10, 1938 in Rotan, TX. She went to be with her Lord and Savior Monday, December 7, 2020 at Reeves County Hospital in Pecos, TX. She was a long time Pecos resident and a life long member of the Church of Christ. Graveside services were held Thursday,, December 10, 2020 at 10:30AM in Merkel at Rose Hill Cemetery. Services were conducted by Starbuck Funeral Home, officiated by Jorge Perez, minister at the Church of Christ in Pecos. Due to COVID a private service was held with immediate family only. Ava was preceded in death by her husband Sidney James Williams, her parents Robert and Lillie May (Davis) Wilcher and brother Delbert Wilcher. She is survived by one sister Bobbie(Lawrence) Dickson of Rotan, TX., one son Sidney James Williams, Jr (Joan) of Poolville, TX., two daughters Wanda Ryan (Lee) of Barstow, TX and Janice North (Wayne) of Pecos, TX, seven grandkids, 16 great grandkids and 2 great great grandkids.
