Ila Holden Obituary
Ila "Nell" Holden, age 72, passed away with peace and grace on November 25, 2018. She was born to Alton E. and Sarah T. Cogburn. Nell was a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. Nell was happy to retire from Arizona to Texas to be near her brother, daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and extended family. Nell enjoyed reading, Kindle games and sitting on her deck watching the puppies, Itty Bitty and Bear playing in the yard.
Nell was strong, independent and loved her family, friends and dogs. She lived life on her terms and hindsight of passing years and growing maturity she revealed her real value. She was a Mother doing what Mother's did, raising her daughters to become the strong women they are through her love, support and friendship.
Nell was proud of her girls and their families. She is survived by her two daughters, Dana and her husband Brian Burke of Tye; Deborah and her husband Billy Plunk of Eula. Two grandsons Wesley Green, Casey Green and his wife Amy, and one granddaughter Misty Plunk. She also leaves behind seven great grandchildren, Dakota, Jayden, Easton, Michael, Cody, Caleb and Kaelyn. She will be thought of with love and good memories by her little by her little brother, Alton and his wife Jan Cogburn and their sons James and Jonathen Cogburn, and Barbara Wilson her elder sister.
